I’m a former realtor with Coldwell Banker. I was making over a six-figure income, but was stressed, always revolving my life 24/7 around my clients. When you’re a buyer’s agent, you have to be ready "at the drop of a hat" to accommodate your client’s schedule when they are available to look at homes. People think realtors have total flexibility, but the reality is, weekends, holidays, you name it, there is never a guarantee of time off.

Ok, fast forward to the last year. With the volatility and the rapid downturn in the real estate market, my income dropped significantly. To pay my bills and live the lifestyle I was accustomed to, I was forced and I mean forced to start looking at other income opportunities. The adversity in real estate actually ended up being a total blessing! I now work when I want, where I want; Minnesota, Vegas, New York, Aruba, even as far as Tokyo! All I need is my laptop and cell phone. The money is incredible, but the best part is, I have my life back.
